What types of board games will I be getting?
All board games that are featured are loved by members of the UnboxBoardom team -- from family games to strategy games to party games! Average value of board games will be around $35. 

Do I get to keep the games?
Yes!  These board games are yours to keep! 

What is the age range for the games?  While every person is different, we typically feature games for ages 8+.

When will I receive my first board game?
You will receive your first board game the month after the month you sign up (ex. if you sign up in August, you will receive your first board game in September).  Games typically ship around the 15th of the month.

For gifts, what email address do I use to create the account? When signing up for an UnboxBoardom subscription, always use your email address to create the account. Automatic emails are sent from our system when an account is created, including billing information, order confirmations, shipping notifications, etc. On the checkout page, there will be a field for you to fill out the gift recipient's name and email address. This is the email address we will send your gift message to letting the recipient know a gift has been purchased for them, as well as the game selection emails if you choose to NOT "Trust the Experts"  (aka let us pick the games for the recipient).

If I give a subscription as a gift, when will the recipient be notified of the gift? When you give the gift of UnboxBoardom, the recipient is notified when the subscription is purchased at the email provided at checkout. If you'd like a future date for the notification to be sent, please indicate that in the "Gift Message" box at checkout and we will hold the notification until the specified date. 

I was gifted a subscription, how do I sign onto my account and to select games? You don't! An account is only created for the gift giver, not the gift recipient. If the subscription is set to select the games yourself, you will receive an email on the 1st of the month with the game selection options and you will select your game directly through links in the email. If you'd like any edits to the subscription, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'd be happy to make any edits for you. 

I originally chose to "Trust the Experts", but now I want to choose the games instead? People change their minds, we get it! If you'd like to update your selection preference, just reach out to us at [email protected] and let us know and we'd be happy to update it for you!

How are shipping fees calculated?
There is a flat $6 shipping fee per shipment to any location in the US.  If you choose a pre-pay option, all the shipping fees are pre-paid with your subscription.  

Where do you ship?
We currently only ship to the continental United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico). Additionally, we are not able to ship to military addresses (APO, FPO or DPO). However, we are working to expand shipping outside this area in the future!

What if I already own the board game?
Our goal is for you to be fully satisfied with your UnboxBoardom experience. If you are dissatisfied with one of our board games for any reason, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of the day you received the game, and provided that you ship back the game to us in unused condition within 7 days, in its original packaging, we will either replace the game at our expense or, depending on the circumstances, provide you a full refund for that game.

What if I don't want any of the featured games that month? We never want you to receive a game you're not excited about! We are happy to work with you and provide you another past game we still have in our inventory to send you as an alternative. In order to do this, please reach out to us at [email protected] prior to the 5th of the month and we will provide you alternative options, if available.  Alternatively, we can push your subscription back a month to choose again next month instead.

Oops, I provided you with wrong delivery information! How do I get it corrected? It's okay, typos happen and people move! You can either log into your account and update the delivery information or reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll be happy to update the account information for you.  However, if a package has been shipped prior to you updating the delivery information, you will be charged a $12 reshipping fee if the shipment is returned to us.  We will not be able to re-ship your game until an updated delivery address is provided.
