Each player gets a 36-card deck built from three each of twelve ceremony cards (there are sixteen ceremonies in the base game). Your play area is the four ceremony spaces on your board plus the two nearest spaces of each neighbour, eight in total. On a turn you draw a card, start a ceremony, or play a card into a ceremony in your play area. A started ceremony grants a special ability until it's finished. A ceremony completes on its fourth card, and the player claims a victory-point tile. The game ends once all game-end tokens are out.
