Cities is a light city-building strategy game in which you draft the best projects and arrange them in your own play area. Using action and resource drafting, it takes you through Sydney, Venice, New York, Barcelona, Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires. Can you design the most magnificent neighborhood?
The game is played over eight rounds (four in a two-player game). Each round, players use workers to collect one scoring card, one city tile, one to two feature tiles, and two to four building pieces. Buildings can be one to four stories high. Fulfill an achievement and you place a disc on the achievement board. At the end, you total the points from your scoring cards and achievements, and the highest score wins.
